Aquatic Plant ID Training

Do you know how to identify rock snot, hydrilla and European frogbit? Learn how to identify these aquatic plants and many more! Special Presenter, NYSDEC Biologist, Scott Kishbaugh.

10 am – 12 pm  ID Training Top Invaders

                DEP Offices, 71 Smith St., Kingston

                Bring a mystery plant for ID. Wrap specimen in wet paper towel and place in a plastic bag – no standing water.

1pm – 3pm Survey Techniques (optional)

                Hudson River, Kingston Point Park

                Bring your own waders. A limited number of loaner waders available on request

There will be a one hour BYO lunch break from 12-1pm.
