Directions:

From White Plains: Turn left onto NY-100B W/ Dobbs Ferry Rd, turn left onto NY-9A W/Saw Mill River Rd, turn right onto Lawrence St, amd Saw Mill River Pkwy N. Destination will be on the right.

From the Bronx: Take I-87 N to NY-9A S/Saw Mill River Rd in Ardsley, Take exit 7 from I-87 N, Drive to Saw Mill River Pkwy N in Irvington, turn left onto NY-9A S/Saw Mill River Rd, turn right onto Lawrence St, and turn right onto Saw Mill River Pkwy N. Destination will be on the right.

IMPORTANT: this site is only accessible by heading North on the Saw Mill Parkway. The turn off will be after the Dobbs Ferry Exit

WHAT: Join Us in combatting a variety of invasive vines along the South County Trail/Saw Mill River. Help us free the trees that provide shade for recreation and habitat for wildlife along the hidden Saw Mill River. We will provide tools, gloves, and snacks on the day of! No previous experience necessary!

WHEN: Sunday, March 5th from 12-3PM

WHO: Groundwork Hudson Valley is hosting with participation from partners including Bronx River Parkway Reservation Conservancy, Croton Vine Cutters, Hastings Vine Squad, Westchester County Parks and more…

TO BRING: Please bring your own water. Dress in layers, wear good shoes, gloves. Bring your own tools if you can (loppers, clippers, hand saws)--we will have some available for volunteers. We'll also have hot drinks and snacks.
