Hydrilla workshop

This workshop will teach you how to identify hydrilla an early detection aquatic invasive species and also how to survey waterbodies for the presence of hydrilla. Hydrilla was recently found in the Croton River. Please help us check nearby waterbodies and help us keep this nasty invader out of our waters.

Scott Kishbaugh, Chief; Lakes Monitoring and Assessment Section, NYS DEC and Chris Doyle, Senior Aquatic Biologist, Allied Biological will conduct the workshop. The workshop will take place at Teatown Lake Reservation.
