Plant Identification:

  • Growth form: tree
  • Bark: smooth and drak brown, but can show some shallow fissures with age
  • Leaf: simple; obovate to nearly orbicular in shape 3-9cm
  • Leaf edge: toothed
  • Fruit: dry, does not split open when ripe
