he weather has caused us to miss out on holding some of our events, so we could really use your help.

We finally received supplies for our growers to pot up more seedlings, so we’ve scheduled our final two workdays of the season. We need as many people to help as possible to get all the seedlings potted up so they have time to root out before fall planting.

Learn how to grow native plants and help grow plants for use in restoration projects in our parks! Sign up here.

Join our group of Habitat Helpers volunteers who are passionate about our environment and want to make a difference. We grow native plants that can be used for restoration projects in our parks. We learn about native plants and learn from experts what it takes to grow them.  You'll help pot up seedlings, sow seeds in growing flats and learn how to care for them at home until they are ready for planting.

Advanced registraiton is required. More details about meeting location will be provided on sign-up.

For volunteers under age 18, please submit a Guardian Consent form to volunteer@nynjtc.org prior to the volunteer day or bring the paper form the day of. A parent or guardian must be present for the volunteer day.

Optional: after the workday, stay for a tour of your leaders' 13 acre wooded property and native plant gardens.
