Invasive Longhorn Tick webinar

The Northeast Center for Excellence in Vector-Borne Diseases is presenting a webinar on the new invasive tick in our region.

Dr. Allen Heath, together with Dr. Andrea Egizi and Dr. Richard Falco, will provide expert commentary on the biology, physiology, and ecology of the invasive tick Haemaphysalis longicornis, and lead an interactive discussion.  

Topics covered include the impact on livestock and considerations for control from the New Zealand experience of this invasive pest; and observations and findings from investigations of this tick in the Northeast USA.
