Eradicate Japanese Barberry from the Bashakill Wildlife Management Area!

Please join Basha Kill Area Association (BKAA) for a pilot project to remove Japanese barbarry.

Where: DEC Parking lot on South Road just south of the waterfall

  • Wear boots, clothing layers, heavy, heavy gloves, and goggles (eye protection).
  • Bring loppers, mattocks, and/or pick axes.
  • Limited tool supply available.
  • Trail mix and water provided.
