Vinecutting with Bronx River Parkway Reservation Conservancy

Date:
Sunday, January 10, 2021 - 1:00pm to 3:00pm
Location:
Bronx River Parkway Reservation, Fisher Lane, Greenburgh

Please join us as we continue our volunteer effort to save trees and native habitat on the Bronx River Reservation.

We'll hit Fisher Lane again this weekend. The snow kept us from walking the path northward and doing what we planned last time out..

Ten of us did manage to save lots of trees around the parking lot, though.

This is Exit 24 on the BRP, Fisher Lane.

From the north it's a left hand turn onto Fisher Lane; from the south a right hand turn.

Also accessed by MetroNorth RR at the North White Plains station.

We'll meet in the smaller North Castle commuter lot, then head north on the pathway where there are lots of mature vines to cut.

Look for the orange "Volunteers at Work" directional sign.

Please remember to wear a mask. This is a great outdoor activity where we're able to practice social distancing easily.

As usual, we'll have tools and gloves to lend and expert instruction for newbies.

Hope to see you there.
