Invasive Plants Walk at CCE Rockland

Date:
Thursday, July 16, 2015 - 6:00pm to 7:00pm
Location:
Stony Point

Take a “weed walk” with Cornell Cooperative staff and Rockland Conservation Service Corps members! Enjoy a short walking tour on the grounds of Cornell Cooperative Extension. The tour will display many invasive plant species that threaten the natural areas in Rockland County. Information about the origins of some species and how to remove them will be included, particularly those on the NY DEC list of prohibited and regulated plants.

Cornell Cooperative Extension Rockland County will be holding this free walk during Invasive Species Awareness week. To register for this program, please contact Jennifer Strianese at Jas946@cornell.edu or 845-429-7085 x117.
