Are you a natural resource professional interested in or already reviewing iMapInvasives records?
Are you a volunteer ready to contribute your botany skills to good cause?
In 2020, we received well over 20,000 reports to iMapInvasives - thank you to all who contributed to the database! In 2021, the goal is to keep up with reviewing these records with the help of our growing network of iMap Confirmers. Join us Wednesday, Jan 27th at 1pm to learn more about confirming records and some tips on streamlining the process:
• Setting up email alerts - new records to review sent directly to your email
• Saving a custom view of iMap data - zoomed to your area, filtered on the species you are most interested in.
• How to use the Identify/Measure tool to gather up a group of records to confirm
• Rules and tips for ensuring data quality
We will also reserve time for discussion and questions. We hope to see you there!
Mitchell O’Neill
