Invasives Strike Force Trail Crew: Flat Rock Brook, NJ
The New York - New Jersey Trail Conference's Invasives Strike Force trail crew will be holding a workday to remove invasive plants. We hope you’ll come out to join us!
WHEN: Saturday May 21 at 10:00 am – 3:00pm
WHERE: Flat Rock Brook Nature Center, Englewood, NJ
* Note: This park is accessible by public transport.
ACTIVITY: We'll be heading back to this beautiful park in the midst of highly-developed Bergen County and working on pulling garlic mustard in one of the less invaded areas of the park. Last year when we were here at this time we saw many different native wildflowers in bloom.
Garlic mustard is easy to pull, and the trails are relatively flat and easy.
****RSVP: If you'd like to attend, please RSVP to isftrailcrew@gmail.com [1] and more details including meeting place and directions will be sent to you.****
Please plan to bring a lunch, water, and work gloves. Work day will last until 3pm.
We look forward to seeing you all on the trails!
