Get ready, this May Clarkson University, Beacon Institute is hosting its first ever Spring Into Action Day! Join us for live music, food, arts & crafts, citizen science projects, and live animals. The event will take place at our Water Ecology Center 199 Denning’s Ave, Beacon, NY located within Denning’s Point Park from 10-2 Sat, May 16th.
This Spring CU Beacon Institute has themed its spring event around environmental stewardship and connecting back to nature. With National Invasive Species Awareness Week (NISAW) starting May 16th, we will discuss the impacts non-native plants and animals can have on our ecosystems in the Hudson Valley. We will give you tips and resources to become an active contributor to citizen science projects and initiatives in your own community.

This is a free, family event open to the public. Please note you will have to walk to the building from the gate/parking lot.
