A swarm is a good word for a large group of bees working quickly as a unit. Like bees, any group of people or animals can be considered a swarm if they act together and quickly - even fiercely. (our emphasis!)

- 3:00pm Wrap Up

Take I-287 W to I-87 S. Take exit 7A from I-87 and continue onto Saw Mill River Parkway S. Take the Ashford Ave Exit 17 (signs for Ashford Ave. Dobbs Ferry/Ardsley). Take Ashford Ave. bridge to 9A Saw Mill River Rd. Arsdsley Acres Hotel Court will be on your Right. Head to the back parking lot where there will be a tent for sign-in!

Take Bronx River Parkway North to Yonkers. Take Tuckahoe Road W. Exit from Sprain Brook Parkway N. Get on 87 N, FOLLOW to NY 9A S/Saw Mill River Road in Ardsley. Take exit 7 from 87 N, turn left on 9A/Saw Mill River Road and see Ardsley Acres Hotel Court on your Right. Head to the back parking lot where there will be a tent for sign-in!
To Bring
Please bring your own lunch and water. Dress in layers, wear good shoes, gloves. Bring your own tools if you can (loppers, clippers, hand saws)--we will have some available for volunteers. We'll provide hard hats and safety vests as well as hot drinks and food.
