Tree Diseases/Invasive Species Seminar

Friday September 23, 9:00-10:00am

EVENT NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Let's prevent the decimation of our predominantly oak forest from Oak Wilt Disease...

An urgent call to homeowners, gardeners, landscape designers and trail walkers: attend this important meeting to learn the early detection signs and to help prevent this fungus from killing off our oak trees. Our instructor, Rob Cole, Forest Health Operations Supervisor, DEC.

Valuable knowledge will also be shared on how to limit the spread of the Emerald Ash Borer and Asian Longhorn Beetle already within the Park.

Tow Lewis from Trillium Invasive Species Managment will also tell us what to do and what NOT to do in order to prevent non-native plants from becoming invasive and rampantly spread out of control, killing the plants YOU WANT in your garden!
