Budd Veverka will lead an interesting and informative Tree & Shrub Identification walk in the Gorge. Using unique leaf characteristics, Budd will help you identify the trees and shrubs that comprise the forest (and probably your backyard). You’ll look at bark, simple leaves and composite leaves, needles, lobes, shapes, fruit, and more to determine the tree or shrub. You’ll also learn which guides and apps can help you identify trees and shrubs wherever you go.
